We are currently meeting in a private home in Spring Hill, KS. Out of respect for the privacy of the homeowners, we are not publishing the address online. Please contact us to obtain the address.
We are not formally affiliated with any denomination, church, or ministry partners at this time. We are open to future partnerships as the Lord leads.
Russell Bible Church's name honors the legacy of the original owners of the house we now meet in, who were pillars of our community for decades. Their legacy is a beautiful testimony of faithfulness that has impacted multiple generations of Christians to seek Christ and His kingdom first.
We offer a class weekly during the sermon for kindergarten and under. We also have a nursery/nursing mothers room available for parents of infants. As a church we prioritize families worshipping together to the extent possible. We intentionally keep programs to a minimum to keep Christ as the focus, to keep Sundays restful, and to encourage fellowship.
Our worship services are simple, with elements of corporate prayer, traditional hymns, creeds and confessions from church history, and expository preaching.
We are an autonomous body of committed Christ-followers. We are led by a plurality of elders, but congregationally governed. In practice, the elders make recommendations to the church body, and the congregation votes on any consequential decision. Every adult member of the church, including elders, has an equal vote. Our church holds a high view of membership, with all members expected to actively participate and be accountable to the rest of the body.
